Welcome to Hoylake School of Dance!
Our large independent school specialises in all aspects of classical and modern theatre training. Whilst offering the traditional core theatre subjects we are first to introduce the more up to date non traditional styles as well. Many of our former students have gone onto Professional Musical Theatre courses after leaving school and continue to work professionally in the industry.
Our school currently offers classes in traditional forms of dance Classical Ballet (RAD), Modern & Tap (IDTA). Other styles such as Contemporary, Freestyle, Commercial Irish Dance, Hip Hop & Street Dance are also offered. We have a good range of ladies evening classes on offer also.
We also boast a thriving Drama (LAMDA) and Singing section. We welcome children from aged 3 upwards to come along and experience a class at our friendly and professional school.

Julia Carlile, Emi & Sasha Taylor, Jamie & Jennifer Wong all performed in the professional production of the King & I at the Liverpool Empire.
Several children were selected for the production of Annie at the Liverpool Empire as part of the Stage Experience project running over the summer. Alice Carlile secured title role of "Annie" and Asha Billington the role of Pepper.
Several children were selected for ABD Productions David Copperfield to be staged at the Floral Pavilion, New Brighton in the Autumn. Sam Rees-Baylis will take the part of the adolescent David Copperfield.
Alice & Julia Carlile, Asha Billington & Zara Phillips have been filming for CBBC's Stepping Up.
Jamie Reecejones secured funding for his place at the Hammond School in Chester for September 2012.
Wallasey Stage Dance Festival, Under 10 Classical team placed 1st, Under 14 Classical teams placed 2nd & 3rd, Open Cabaret team placed 3rd.

Nikita Baron has been accepted as a Senior Associate of the Royal Ballet School & also accepted with scholarship for Tring Park, specialist performing arts school in Hertfordshire.
10 children selected from an open audition for David Copperfield at the Floral Pavilion and several children selected for Annie with Stage Experience to be performed at the Liverpool Empire in August.
Pupils passed Grade 8 Gold LAMDA Acting Natalie Brennan (Distinction) Kate Griffiths (Merit) & Anna-Rose Fitzsimmons. Rebecca Lamb passed Grade 8 Gold LAMDA Musical Theatre (Merit)

Nikita Baron and Jamie Reecejones have been accepted at the Hammond School in Chester for full time dance training from September 2012.

Natalie Brennan has successfully auditioned for a place at the Italia Conti Theatre School in London for September 2012.
Tabitha & Eliza Hayles were selected from an open audition for parts in South Pacific at the Liverpool Empire to be performed in February with Samantha Womack.
Nathan Pearce opened in Oliver at the Palace Theatre Manchester appearing until March 2012.

20 children performed in the professional production of Cinderella at the Stiwt Theatre, Wrexham during the Christmas season.
Claudia Tarbiat passed her Advanced 1 RAD examination (Merit) & the following girls passed their Advanced Foundation RAD exams also Nikita Baron (Merti), Sarah Clark (Merit), Hope Nolan.

22 children from the school performed at the Royal Albert Hall in the first ever Dance Proms. Nikita Baron selected from 2000 applicants to train at the New York City Ballet for 5 weeks in Summer 2012. She has also secured a final audition for Elmhurst School for Dance in Birmingham for entry September 2012.
Jamie Reecejones, Mollie, Tom & Poppy Leadsom all performing in Bugsy with LHK Productions. Zara Phillips, Alice & Julia Carlile appeared with Mickey Finn & Margie Clarke at St Helen's Theatre Royal.
